Representing the Interests of African Americans in the Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

The GAO-USACE Chapter of Blacks In Government (BIG) is dedicated to Representing the Interests of African Americans in the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

The representation of our members from mission and mission support organizations in each agency provides us with a broad perspective of employment issues. At GAO, the work of our chapter has helped to shape employment policies and practices, and was a significant factor in the initiation of a 2008 study by the Ivy Group of performance disparities between African American analyst and analysts of other racial groups in GAO.
